We had a super fantastic Friday! Our class worked so hard today! Have a great week!

Valentine’s Day Community Service:
The 3/4 theme for this year is "valuing each other". As a community service project, the 3/4 students are collecting and donating any gently used books to a school in great need. We will be collecting these in the classroom from now until the Valentine's Day Party. These books will be donated to a needy school in Detroit. If you have any books for this effort, please send them to school with your child! Thank you! Please do not feel obligated, this is strictly voluntary.

Report Cards: Ask your child to share with you the brown envelope full of reports. Please keep the reports and return the signed envelope by the end of the week if possible. Thanks so much...

This is a good time of the year to replenish your child’s supplies. Students may need the following personal supplies for school:
crayons, scissors, tape, and pencils

Please ask your child if they are in need!

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD HAS PENCILS IN HIS/HER BINDER!!!

I hope you had a wonderful holiday break!! I am happy to be back with my amazing class! The students enjoyed sharing all of their wonderful experiences with family and friends. The students did a great job of getting back into the swing of things. Today we learned about the ways the Native Americans, Latinos, Europeans Americans, African Americans, and Asian Americans came to America and contributed to its growth and development. We will conclude our study of the peopling of the United States on Wednesday by writing a song that celebrates American diversity.
