Today was Dad's Eat and Run! It was so fun seeing all of the Dad’s hanging out in the cafĂ© and library! Some very brave Dads even ventured out onto the playground to enjoy the snow! This morning we took our test on the story Tanya’s Reunion. We also worked on our Science Wiki page. In the afternoon we learned about the Pioneers in Ecology and checked out books in the library. Ask your child to tell you about Henry David Thoreau's life and dedication to nature. Have a great weekend with friends and family!

I hope you had an enjoyable winter break! Today we got right back into the groove of learning and had a great day. This morning the 4th graders attended an instrumental program. Afterwards a Selmer Music Survey was administered to all the participating students. Students then were fitted to the recommended instruments. Later in the week students will be given a form to take home indicating which instrument Anderson Music recommends. This was an exciting opportunity for the 4th graders. In the afternoon during language arts, we read about Tanya’s Reunion and responded to the story. After planners we had a sweet treat in celebration of Shannon’s half birthday!
