Language Arts:  We’ve worked hard on editing and revising our persuasive paragraph letters.  We sent them out in the mail this week!  We are going to begin an expository writing unit alongside the writing we do in all subjects each day!

Social Studies:   We continue to study important African Americans in our history as well as the Civil Rights movement.  In Michigan history we are looking at the period of time when Europeans came over and encountered the Native Americans.

Science:  We are finishing up our study of the properties of minerals and Earth materials. We will now begin our unit on Variables!
