Wonderful Wednesday!

Student Spotlight

Once a month, a BCS student will be highlighted on the school website and possibly on the district website. If you are interested in being the Student Spotlight for BCS, please click BCS Student Spotlight, complete the form and submit it by the indicated deadline. Selection will be done by a random draw. Parent/Guardian permission is required on the form.

At least one student in our class has a serious nut allergy.  Please do not send any peanuts/tree nuts or foods containing peanuts/tree nuts to be eaten as snacks in the classroom. Students can enjoy peanuts/tree nuts at lunch time keeping their lunch in their locker until then.  Examples of tree nuts include almonds, cashews, pecans, walnuts, macadamia, pine nuts, pistachios, hazelnuts, Brazil nut, chestnuts, filberts and hickory nuts. It is ok for other students to eat snacks labeled “Made in the Same Facility as Tree nuts” or “Made on the same equipment as…” Just avoid snacks that have peanut/tree nut as part of the ingredients. For a safe snack guide (nut-free) go to the following link: http://snacksafely.com/safe-snack-guide/.

Our First Day!

We had the best first day and I know we are going to have a fabulous year together!    This morning we learned about our procedures and had a "Town Hall Meeting" with our principals. Ask your child what it means to value the three E's!

Tomorrow your child will bring home a planner. Today he/she will come home with a few papers for you!

Your kids are fabulous and I already know we will have the best time together!
