Today was a super day! We are really enjoyed reading and discussing Maniac Magee. We also worked really hard on completing our Native American photostory assignment today.

Just want to let you know that I will not be here on Thursday or Friday this week. Sloan and Steele have the opportunity to visit Mickey Mouse and both sets of grandparents for an 11 day trip over the December break. I am so sorry to miss those days, but we will have Ms. Zink here and she will carry out the plans as usual. She knows how things run and she will keep the learning going! I will return on Monday, January 4th for a great new year with you!

On Friday we will have our class holiday party! The parents in our room have planned a great party for the kids. The party is from 12:30-1:30pm and all parents are welcome to attend!

We start swimming THIS week….

Choice hour forms for the third quarter went are due on Friday the 18th! We are in a choice hour movie contest with the ¾ classes! The first class to get all forms in wins!

*Please encourage your child to bring a water bottle to class so he/she does not have to leave class when thirsty!

IT IS IMPORTANT FOR YOUR CHILD TO BRING SHARPENED PENCILS TO SCHOOL EACH DAY! PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR CHILD WITH A PERSONAL PENCIL SHARPENER TO KEEP IN HIS/HER BINDER!!!
