Just a heads up that this afternoon I am being sent to a district workshop.
Fall conferences will be held on November 16th and 17th. The sign-up will be posted on Thursday, October 27th. If you would like for me to sign you up for a conference, please send me an email with the approximate time and day that works best for you. I understand that may be hard to get into the building for this. I am happy to help!
Mrs. Frishman and I are looking for a few parents who can come into our science lab on Friday and pack our land and water kits. It should take no more than an hour. If you can come, please email me. It was a fun but messy unit so dress comfortably!

Students should have quick mental recall of the following number of facts by the end of the year: 30 addition/30 subtraction facts in 2 mins and 50 division/50 multiplication facts in 3 mins

Please make sure your child has a good book with him/her each day! We usually have 15 minutes of silent reading time each day!
Please check your child's Blue Take Home Folder each day to check for mail, homework, and important information.

IT IS IMPORTANT FOR YOUR CHILD TO BRING SHARPENED PENCILS TO SCHOOL EACH DAY! PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR CHILD WITH A PERSONAL PENCIL SHARPENER TO KEEP IN HIS/HER BINDER!!!
PLEASE SEND YOUR CHILD WITH A WATER BOTTLE!!! This helps a lot, so he/she does not have to leave the room when thirsty! Your child is also welcome to keep healthy snacks in our classroom to eat any time!
