What a wonderful Wednesday! This morning we worked hard creating a sensory detail/juicy word diagram in Inspiration! We brainstormed sensory/juicy words to describe our orange. We also worked with our writing buddy to find descriptive words from some of our favorite stories. We categorized these into a diagram using Inspiration. This will serve as a great resource for our descriptive writing. In the afternoon we worked in our book clubs.

Tomorrow is Take Your Child To Work Day! I know many of you are looking forward to sharing your career with your child(ren). I usually have the students share their experience with the class the day after this event. This year, I would like for them to tell how their parent(s) use math and/or science at their job. This is a great way to see how math and science goes beyond our school!
