It was a thrilling Thursday in room 204!

The end of the year is fast approaching! Important dates to note are:

Move Up Day (it is actually just for the morning) is Monday June 11
Wacky Recess is Wednesday June 13 (swimsuits and towel will be needed)
The End of Year party is Thursday June 14 10:20-2:30pm. Please hand in your T-Shirt or tie dye item to your classroom teacher by Monday, June 11th! Please email Mrs. Kohl or Mrs. Rifkin if you are available to help with a station (see email sent out to Parkin homeroom parents yesterday. Thank
Friday, June 8th - T-shirts for tie dying are due in a ziplock bag with your childs name on it. There will be a collection bin in the classroom. Info on what types of t-shirts are best for tie dying are on the flyer.

Thursday, June 14th - Our end of year party. Please have you child bring their bathing suit and towel on this day. The festivities will begin at 10:20 and wrap up at 2:30.

ATTENTION ALL 3/4GRADERS!!
It’s Time to TIE DYE at our End of the Year Party!

Please bring a T-Shirt or item to tie dye in a large Ziploc bag. Write your name and your teacher’s name on the bag and bring to school by Monday, June 8. You can use any clean, white, 100% cotton item that you already have. Items that already have screen printing on them are okay.

If purchasing a T-Shirt to tie dye, please consider the following:
• When buying packaged undershirts, purchase adult sizes small or medium. Youth-sized undershirts are not true to size and will shrink to be too small/short. After washing, adult small undershirts will fit most 8-10 year old children.
• Hanes brand 100% cotton tie dyes the best.
• T-Shirts that are pre-washed will hold the dye better.

Please hand in your T-Shirt or tie dye item to your classroom teacher by Monday, June 8!

Just to let you know: Our classroom air conditioning gets very cold in the spring/summer months. Please have your child bring a sweater or sweat shirt to keep in his/her locker for the remainder of the year.
