What a thrilling Thursday we had in room 204! This morning we worked in our sound groups recording and making sounds with different size nails. We also made our own nail xylophone movie. In the afternoon, we used rulers to investigate how size affects sound. We also watched a video clip on the wiki to learn more about sounds and vibrations. Friday the kids have no school and the staff will be in a professional development meeting all day, missing the kids! Enjoy the long weekend with your friends and family! I will miss you tomorrow!

Students should be able to complete the following number of facts by the end of the year: 30 addition/subtraction facts in 2 mins and 50 division/multiplication facts in 3 mins
4th Grade Math:
Geo-museums are due on Monday!!! Also due Monday: JP 49-50 SL 2.9 (please subtract using your favorite method. I prefer the “traditional method,” but you are free to use what works for you. Ignore the directions when they tell you to use a specific method)! Remember that the study link has two sides!!! You also have a paper called “The Mean is Not So Mean.” Please complete this for Monday as well. Finally, I handed out your pop quiz that we took on Tuesday. Please get it signed by Monday!!!!

Please PRECUT large items providing 27 napkins/plates and other necessary utensils.
