We had such a great day today! This morning we worked on writing a friendly letter to our new classmate that will join us on Monday. In the afternoon we had a lot of time to work on Social Studies. We are learning about different types of maps and the kids are doing the best job!
Choice Hour selection sheets came home today. The new choice hour begins on Monday, January 31.
A class list came home today for our Valentine Party. Our Valentine’s Party is Monday, February 14th, from 12:45-1:30 in our classroom, 204.
This reflects a time change. Everyone is invited to join us!
Just a reminder that Friday is a half-day and we get out at 11:20am. Teachers will be working on report cards all afternoon. Report cards will be released on February 7th.
New choice hours will start on Monday the 31st!
We are reading to Waikiki! Ask your child to share the details of this awesome opportunity with you tonight. The letter will explain all of the important information. Students are bringing home a biography detail sheet today for use after reading. These will be turned in on January 28th. Happy reading folks!

3rd Grade End of year fact expectations:
Students should have quick mental recall of the following number of facts by the end of the year: 30 addition/30 subtraction facts in 2 mins and 50 division/50 multiplication facts in 3 mins
4th Grade Math:
Angles projects are due tomorrow and we will present them!!! Due Monday is JP 194-195, 197 and SL 7.4. You will need Math masters 212 to help you with the journal pages. This was passed out in class!

Please prepare an individual snack for each child.
Please PRECUT large items providing 27 napkins/plates and other necessary utensils.
