This morning we enjoyed learning more about Matt’s adventures in Sign of the Beaver. This afternoon we published our “Thanksgiving Guest Peer Writing” on the wiki. We also read other paragraphs and commented on them. Finally, we learned more about map skills related to our community in social studies. It was a terrific Tuesday in room 204!

We are all set with field trip volunteers for the Rouge Plant Tour on Friday, December 9. Chaperones will meet in the media center at 8:50 for an overview of the trip with Mrs. Reepmeyer. You will then meet us in the room, and we will load the bus for departure at 9:00am. Chaperons will ride the school bus with the class and bring a bag lunch for the day. We will return around 1:30. Our chaperone families for the day are:

3rd Grade End of Year Fact Expectations:
Students should have quick mental recall of the following number of facts by the end of the year: 30 addition/30 subtraction facts in 2 mins and 50 division/50 multiplication facts in 3 mins

4th Grade Math:
Review due Thursday. Our Unit 4 test will be Friday. There will be a multiplication fact tests as well as a division fact test along with the unit test. We have 15 minutes of IXL time as well as four online tests due Friday. The codes are QMAH0854, BDHU7727, LQWW1667, and OZLO5741. We will have a lot of time in math tomorrow to work on these assignments!

5. A pop-up for username and password will appear. The student’s username must be entered with the full extension -- username@birmingham.k12.mi.us . The password is the same password the students uses to login at school.

Please make sure your child has a good book with him/her each day! We usually have 15 minutes of silent reading time each day!

Please check your child's Blue Take Home Folder each day to check for mail, homework, and important information.

IT IS IMPORTANT FOR YOUR CHILD TO BRING SHARPENED PENCILS TO SCHOOL EACH DAY! PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR CHILD WITH A PERSONAL PENCIL SHARPENER TO KEEP IN HIS/HER BINDER!!!

PLEASE SEND YOUR CHILD WITH A WATER BOTTLE!!! This helps a lot, so he/she does not have to leave
the room when thirsty! Your child is also welcome to keep healthy snacks in our classroom to eat any
time!
