Thanks for the Catch of the Week treats Jordan!

What a great Monday we had in room 204. This morning we started our study of the Southeast region states. We learned about the 12 awesome states of this region and are really excited to learn more! In the afternoon, after Spanish, we had time to talk about our focus on Citizenship this month. Students will be sharing a character project with you this afternoon. This assignment will focus on ways we should Good Citizenship daily in our school and home life. Students will work on this at home throughout the month of January. They may post the project to the wiki anytime during the month. We will share these throughout the month with classmates. We also read Because of Winn Dixie and our strategy today was sequencing events of the chapters. We took a closer look at the friendships Opal is making in the story. At the end of the day, we worked with our buddy to finish our online vocabulary wiki using the Macbooks.
