This morning we worked on our second published piece from our Writer’s Workshop notebook. In the afternoon, we enjoyed learned more about our wonderful state of Michigan’s climate. We also went on a Book Fair preview at the end of the day! I look forward to meeting with many of you tomorrow at student-led conferences. Enjoy this gorgeous weather.
Student-Led Conferences will be held on March 21st and 22nd from 1:00pm – 4:00pm and 5:00pm – 8:00pm (your child will have a half-day of school both days).

3rd Grade Math:
Geometry Packet is due Monday with a PARENT SIGNATURE. We have worked on most of this packet together in class over the past few weeks. Some of the students are finished. Others have a few pages to do at home. We completed the last 5 pages of the packet together in class today. If your child lost his/her packet, a new one will be coming home today.

3rd Grade End of Year Fact Expectations:
Students should have quick mental recall of the following number of facts by the end of the year: 30 addition/30 subtraction facts in 2 mins and 50 division/50 multiplication facts in 3 mins
4th Grade Math:
JP 221-223, 226 SL 8.1, SL 8.2 On Friday or Monday, the kids will need scissor and tape in math. Please ask your child if he/she has this in his/her cubby! Thank you!

5. A pop-up for username and password will appear. The student’s username must be entered with the full extension -- username@birmingham.k12.mi.us . The password is the same password the students uses to login at school.
