We had a fantastic day! In writer’s workshop today we learned more strategies for finding and generating writing ideas. We read a part of a great story where Eva, the main character, used something she saw, overheard, or a surprising event to prompt her writing juices. We have amazing writers in room 204. In the afternoon, we enjoyed learning about Michigan’s regions with our social studies buddy. Get ready for a fantastic Friday.
We received our new choice hour forms Monday! They are due Friday, but we want to win the contest. Don’t forget money if you need it.

3rd Grade End of Year Fact Expectations:
Students should have quick mental recall of the following number of facts by the end of the year: 30 addition/30 subtraction facts in 2 mins and 50 division/50 multiplication facts in 3 mins
4th Grade Math:
On Friday your child received a “Fraction Card Project.” This project is due tomorrow. We will turn in our Unit 7 review tomorrow and our test will be tomorrow as well! It will include a multiplication and division fact test. We have a few things due tomorrow: SL 7.11 (the second two pages which are pages 167 and 168 in your study link book) and two online tests. The codes are TEDC3509 and WJZC7181.
