This morning we went down to the media center to research the lifecycle of various animals. The students are working in pairs to put together a research paper and tech. project. Enjoy the video to find out what we are doing with geometry in 3rd grade math. In the afternoon, we began our tour of the Northeast Region of the US. Tomorrow we will be going on a train ride through the North east region. For many of us, this will be our first train ride….we are excited!!

Happy 10th birthday MaKayla….thanks for treating us to delicious cupcakes!

Valentine's Day Community Service Prject:

The 3/4 theme for this year is "valuing each other". As a community service project, the 3/4 students are collecting and donating any gently used books to a school in great need. We will be collecting these in the classroom from now until the Valentine's Day Party. These books will be donated to a needy school in Detroit. If you have any books for this effort, please send them to school with your child! Thank you! Please do not feel obligated, this is strictly voluntary.

Report Cards: Ask your child to share with you the brown envelope full of reports. Please keep the reports and return the signed envelope by the end of the week if possible. Thanks so much...

This is a good time of the year to replenish your child’s supplies. Students may need the following personal supplies for school:
scissors, tape, and pencils
Please ask your child if they are in need!

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD HAS PENCILS IN HIS/HER BINDER!!!
