Today was awesome! We worked so hard finishing the final drafts of our personal narratives in class. We are publishing these in powerpoint and will post them to our wiki. Today will be the last day we will work on it in class. If your child does not finish, he/she should complete it at home and upload it to voice thread and the wiki by Monday. A few students have emailed it to themselves and will be finishing this over the weekend.
Next week we do not have school on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday! I hope everyone has a fabulous holiday weekend!!!
*Please encourage your child to bring a water bottle to class so he/she does not have to leave class when thirsty!
IT IS IMPORTANT FOR YOUR CHILD TO BRING SHARPENED PENCILS TO SCHOOL EACH DAY! PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR CHILD WITH A PERSONAL PENCIL SHARPENER TO KEEP IN HIS/HER BINDER!!!

Spelling:
Due/Test November 23rd (Monday)
List #1 Compound words. Choose your spelling words from A, B or C. You need a parent to sign off on the choice you make. Complete the definition activity on Moodle (up to 2 attempts) and Play 3 games from Spellingcity.com.
3rd Grade Math:
Study multiplication facts 5, 6 and 10 for 10 minutes each day this weekend.
Mental recall goals (for exiting 3rd grade) are 30 addition and 30 subtraction in 2 mins, 50 multiplication and 50 division 3 mins. Check out the math website at the top of our Blog. It is great for practicing all facts!
4th Grade Math:
Today we took a practice division timed test with 100 problems. Your homework is to get it signed, study your division facts for ten minutes, and to finish your review which you started in class! Our Unit 4 test will be on Tuesday, November 24th. It will include a multiplication and a division fact test (each with 100 problems for five minutes). Study your facts!!!
