We had such a wonderful Monday! The kids are so excited that they have a short week and you could feel that excitement in the air! We took our first spelling test of the year today and worked on our current social studies unit. We also completed our personal narrative powerpoint, imported it into a voice thread and uploaded it to our wiki this morning. Book order forms came home on Monday and are due on
December 2. We encourage you to order online. Each time you do, our class receives a book for our classroom library.
It was a fun day!

*Please encourage your child to bring a water bottle to class so he/she does not have to leave class when thirsty!

IT IS IMPORTANT FOR YOUR CHILD TO BRING SHARPENED PENCILS TO SCHOOL EACH DAY! PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR CHILD WITH A PERSONAL PENCIL SHARPENER TO KEEP IN HIS/HER BINDER!!!

Here’s what we have for you tonight:

3rd Grade Reading: 20 minutes (record on the wiki: butzin09.wikis.birmingham.k12.mi.us)

4th Grade Reading: 30 minutes (record on the wiki: butzin09.wikis.birmingham.k12.mi.us)

Language Arts:
A few students need to complete the personal narrative powerpoint, import it into voice thread and post it to the language arts page of your wiki. Today was the last day to complete the powerpoint in class. If your child does not finish, he/she should complete it at home and upload it to voice thread and the wiki by Monday. A few students have emailed it to themselves to complete this assignment.
