We had a wonderful day in room 204! This morning we read a few really good chapters from Manaic Magee. In the afternoon we learned so many interesting things about the lives of the Hopewell Indians. We also created a map representing Michigan’s Native American Territories. The tribes living in Michigan were the Ojibiwa, Ottawa, Potawatomi and Huron. We also learned something interesting about the Mound Builders of Michigan! Ask your child to share the details with you tonight!
This week we will be starting our next science unit on Ecosystems! You received information about this before break. We are requesting that each family complete three bottles to help us with our ecosystems unit. If you are able to do more, that would be greatly appreciated! We received so many bottles today! If you did not bring yours in today, please do so tomorrow or Wednesday!
