It was a TERRIFIC Tuesday in room 204! This morning we practiced uploading to the wiki and tagging our paragraph practice again. If you are unable to do this from home, email it to your school email account, and we will complete this task at school. In the afternoon, we took our spelling test online and practiced our keyboarding skills.

For easier ordering, please click on the book clubs link (see right side of blog) and register. Create your own username and password. Enter our classroom code: HDPNQ and pay for your order online. You can then use this username and password for all future orders. The books will usually arrive approximately 1 week after the due date. Have fun shopping!
Spelling:
Please have a parent read and sign the spelling letter. Show your parent your list of spelling words. Start to learn the pattern/list of words by using spellingcity.com (see link on frequently visited sites) Homework/signed letter is due back on Tuesday Nov 29th

3rd Grade End of Year Fact Expectations:
Students should have quick mental recall of the following number of facts by the end of the year: 30 addition/30 subtraction facts in 2 mins and 50 division/50 multiplication facts in 3 mins
4th Grade Math:
Work on IXL for fifteen minutes (due tomorrow). You can choose any skills you want! We have four online tests due Thursday. The codes are JZQB4352, ZZPR2058, RQYT4194, and VPKM6809.
To get to a student’s BPS email:
1. Go to the BPS homepage at http://www.birmingham.k12.mi.us/
2. Hover over the “Parents/Students” link on the top menu bar. A drop down menu will appear.
3. In the drop down menu, click on “Student Links.”
4. Click on the “Microsoft Outlook 2007” icon:
5. A pop-up for username and password will appear. The student’s username must be entered with the full extension -- username@birmingham.k12.mi.us . The password is the same password the students uses to login at school.
