We have lots of excited 4th graders reading some wonderful Battle books. Students can check books out from the BCS media center or go to the Baldwin Library as well. If you have any questions regarding the Battle, Barbara Clark will be happy to help you. Barbara is the coordinator and can answer give you any details regarding the Battle. We have a few parents who haven’t signed up for a conference time. I am more than willing to help with this. Please send me an email if I can sign you up for a time.
Fall conferences will be held on November 16th and 17th. The sign-up sheet is posted outside of our classroom. If you would like for me to sign you up for a conference, please send me an email with the approximate time and day that works best for you. I understand that may be hard to get into the building for this. I am happy to help!

Students should have quick mental recall of the following number of facts by the end of the year: 30 addition/30 subtraction facts in 2 mins and 50 division/50 multiplication facts in 3 mins

Please make sure your child has a good book with him/her each day! We usually have 15 minutes of silent reading time each day!

IT IS IMPORTANT FOR YOUR CHILD TO BRING SHARPENED PENCILS TO SCHOOL EACH DAY! PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR CHILD WITH A PERSONAL PENCIL SHARPENER TO KEEP IN HIS/HER BINDER!!!
PLEASE SEND YOUR CHILD WITH A WATER BOTTLE!!! This helps a lot, so he/she does not have to leave
the room when thirsty! Your child is also welcome to keep healthy snacks in our classroom to eat any
