What a wonderful Wednesday in room 204! I am so proud of our the awesome hard workers in our class.
We are looking for 1 more volunteer for the Rouge Plant Tour on Friday, December 9. W will depart BCS at 8:50 and return around 1:30. If you can join us, please email me at sb07bps@birmingham.k12.mi.us You will ride the school bus with the class and bring a bag lunch for the day. It is an awesome trip.

For easier ordering, please click on the book clubs link (see right side of blog) and register. Create your own username and password. Enter our classroom code: HDPNQ and pay for your order online. You can then use this username and password for all future orders. The books will usually arrive approximately 1 week after the due date. Have fun shopping!
Spelling:
We took our online test and will receive the new list this week. Students brought home a paper copy of the test.
Paragraph Practice:
Due November 29 (Tuesday)

Social Studies:
Right now our focus is on the world, continent, country, state, and city communities we belong to. Soon we will move our focus to more map skills and the study of our great state of Michigan
3rd Grade Math:
HL 4.4 and IXL F3 and F4 for 20 minutes. IXL records the amount of time you worked one each skill. Make sure you work for at least 20 minutes.

3rd Grade End of Year Fact Expectations:
Students should have quick mental recall of the following number of facts by the end of the year: 30 addition/30 subtraction facts in 2 mins and 50 division/50 multiplication facts in 3 mins
4th Grade Math:
JP 93-93 SL 4.7. We have four online tests due tomorrow. They were assigned on Monday. The codes are JZQB4352, ZZPR2058, RQYT4194, and VPKM6809.
To get to a student’s BPS email:
1. Go to the BPS homepage at http://www.birmingham.k12.mi.us/
2. Hover over the “Parents/Students” link on the top menu bar. A drop down menu will appear.
3. In the drop down menu, click on “Student Links.”

5. A pop-up for username and password will appear. The student’s username must be entered with the full extension -- username@birmingham.k12.mi.us . The password is the same password the students uses to login at school.
