Back to School Night FOR PARENTS is this Thursday, September 13. Volunteer sign up and refreshments begin at 6:00 p.m., Mrs. Frishman and I will begin our presentation at 6:30 sharp in room (206), Mrs. Chinn begins at 7:00 sharp in the Media Center.



Swim Schedule: We swim from 12:15-1:00pm on Thursdays and 9:25-10:10am on Fridays



1st Marking Period

Tuesday, September 4 through Friday, September 28:

Frishman, Seley, Maliszewski, and Wallington will be in the GYM.

Butzin, Davis, Harvath, and Parkin will SWIM.

Language Arts:

Reader/Writers NOTEBOOKS were due MONDAY!

“When Reading Has Mattered” due Friday-This assignment will help your child with a small project we will be doing in class next week.



Poster Due September 17 - All week we have also worked hard on a poster all about ourselves. Everyone is bring it home today and this poster is due on Monday, September 17th. After editing the work with a parent, students should go over the pencil with a marker and color the entire poster. These will be displayed in the hall.



3rd Grade Reading: 20 minutes

4th Grade Reading: 30 minutes



3rd Grade Math:

Journal Page 1.3 (We did this in class together) Some students need to finish at home.

IXL for 10 min (m3 and m4)



4th Grade Math:

JP 12-13 SL 1.5 We also have ten minutes of IXL to do tonight. Tonight we are focusing on the Geometry section (P). Choose any skills you want from that section and work for ten minutes.







Important Reminders:

• School starts at 8:20. Students should be in their homeroom seat by this time.

• Please bring 3 sharp pencils to class every day.

• Bring a water bottle and two healthy snacks every day.

• Bring a chapter book every day.
