Our First Monday!

Our first Monday of the school year was marvelous! We worked so hard this morning in math, Language Arts and Eng Tech. After math this morning we had snack and time to share our reader’s/writer’s notebooks. After lunch we worked hard created “character locker licenses”. We will hang these on our lockers very soon. Ask your child to share with you the details. Our first book room shopping excursion was a huge success. We shopped for “Just Right” fiction and nonfiction books. We had a chance afterwards to talk about Readers Workshop!

Our classroom temperature varies on a daily basis, but it is often cold! You may want to have your child keep a sweatshirt or sweater in his/her locker.
