It was a terrific Tuesday in room 204! This morning we started our new study of Ecosystems on the wiki in groups! It is going to be the most exciting science unit. Tomorrow we will be going into the lab to explore. In the afternoon, we learned more about the exciting life of Matt in the Sign of the Beaver and reviewed for our social studies quiz tomorrow.
Field Trip Friday: I currently have the families of Alexander, Stebbins, Hurley, Juriga, Coyer, Ryan, Deighan and Richardson joining us on the trip. Please meet in the media center at 9:00 for an overview of the day. Join us in the classroom afterwards and begin boarding busses at 9:15. You will want to bring a bag lunch for this trip. We plan to return around 1:45. Thanks for joining us.

3rd Grade End of Year Fact Expectations:
Students should have quick mental recall of the following number of facts by the end of the year: 30 addition/30 subtraction facts in 2 mins and 50 division/50 multiplication facts in 3 mins
4th Grade Math:
If you did not get your pop quiz signed last night, please do so tonight! We have a Multi-Digit Multiplication Homework packet due tomorrow that the kids need to complete using the traditional multiplication method. We also have JP 132-133 and SL 5.10 due tomorrow. On JP 132, the kids only need to complete #1. We have 30 minutes of IXL due by Thursday. I want you to focus on the multiplication skills (D1-D18) during that half hour. If you finish all of them, you can move on to any skills you choose! Our Unit 5 test will be on Wednesday the 18th
