What an exciting Monday! Today we met our crickets and isopods and introduced them to their new terrarium life. We also started our Sign of the Beaver tech extension and will be completing this over the next few days. On Thursday, we go to the Environmental Center from 12:15-2:30. Our Unit 5 tests came back today. Please get the letter signed tonight and show me the signature tomorrow! Today we spent a large part of our math class learning the “Traditional Long Division” method. This is what you and I grew up with when we went through school. The kids have a packet coming home that needs to be finished tomorrow. Every problem should be completed using the traditional method. I have told the kids that we will be ignoring any other directions in this unit when we are asked to divide. They are excited about that!
