What a terrific Tuesday in room 204! This morning we worked hard publishing our “Kids Against Hunger” writing piece. In the afternoon we had time for cursive, Spanish and Engage.

We are entering the Least-Amount-of-Overdues Contest! In order to win the contest, we need to have all of the books returned to the media center by Friday. Students will bring home any overdue notices today. The contest is earlier this year due to the media center floor renovations.

3rd Grade End of Year Fact Expectations:
Students should have quick mental recall of the following number of facts by the end of the year: 30 addition/30 subtraction facts in 2 mins and 50 division/50 multiplication facts in 3 mins

4th Grade Math:
Today we started Unit 10. We also got our Unit 9 math test back as well. Please know that this is the hardest test of the year and we will be reviewing the skills throughout the remainder of the year as well as in fifth grade. Tonight’s homework is to get the Unit 9 test letter signed and to complete JP 275, 277 SL 10.1, 10.2

5. A pop-up for username and password will appear. The student’s username must be entered with the full extension -- username@birmingham.k12.mi.us . The password is the same password the students uses to login at school.

Please check your child's Blue Take Home Folder each day to check for mail, homework, and important information.

IT IS IMPORTANT FOR YOUR CHILD TO BRING SHARPENED PENCILS TO SCHOOL EACH DAY! PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR CHILD WITH A PERSONAL PENCIL SHARPENER TO KEEP IN HIS/HER BINDER!!!

PLEASE SEND YOUR CHILD WITH A WATER BOTTLE!!! This helps a lot, so he/she does not have to leave
the room when thirsty! Your child is also welcome to keep healthy snacks in our classroom to eat any
time!
