Yippie! We won the choice hour contest! Congratulations to our amazing class. This morning we had the best time writing and sharing about a small moment from our holiday weekend. We posted these to our wiki to share. We also learned about the importance of using adjectives to help make our writing come alive. In the afternoon, we focused on our study of Michigan. It was a fantastic day!

On Friday, we will be heading to Greenfield Village. Here is our agenda for the day:

Departure:

• Chaperones arrive outside of classroom at 8:50am.

• Busses will depart BCS at 9:00am. There will be 8 busses, one for each class.

Arrival at Greenfield Village:

• Enjoy the exploration of Greenfield Village at your own pace with your small group of students. Scavenger hunts have been provided for optional use. These history hunts highlight specific locations in Greenfield Village. They could serve as a guide throughout your day.

• The train ride is not included in the cost of the trip.

• Teachers will be acting as facilitators and will be circulating throughout Greenfield Village during the trip.

• Chaperones choose the time and place for groups to eat their picnic lunches.

• Please meet at the Clock Tower at 1:15 p.m. Busses will leave for BCS at 1:30 and are scheduled to arrive back at BCS before 2:30.
