Today was a wonderful Wednesday! Wehad such a busy and productive day! This morning we worked hard in Language Arts on our first big writing assignment! We are writing memoirs all about ourselves and we are off to a great start! This afternoon we started talking about the water cycle in science. Ask your child what he/she remembers!

Gallon Size Baggies Needed:
We are in need of a few boxes of Gallon-sized Ziploc bags. If you are able to donate a box, this will be great for our science unit as well as a few other projects we have coming up!
Last week, you received see a Catch of the Week schedule. It explained what we do with our “catch” for each week! Please keep the schedule in a special location at home.

This week starting our first science unit on Land and Water. In order to do this, our class needs 9 2-liter bottles. The bottles must be clear and they must have a cap. If you can donate one, please send it in with your child! We also need 9 shoe boxes for this unit. If you can donate one, we would appreciate it. This is a wonderful unit and I thank you for your help in getting started!!!

*Please encourage your child to bring a water bottle to class so he/she does not have to leave class when thirsty!

IT IS IMPORTANT FOR YOUR CHILD TO BRING SHARPENED PENCILS TO SCHOOL EACH DAY! PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR CHILD WITH A PERSONAL PENCIL SHARPENER TO KEEP IN HIS/HER BINDER!!!
