This morning I was out at a meeting. While I normally don’t like to leave the kids to go to a meeting, this one was well worth it! We were taught so many exciting things that I will soon be able to share with the kids using the program Voice Thread. It is fantastic! If you want to check out what your child has already done on Voice Thread, click on the “Our Wiki” link and find the link to Voice Thread. Then your child can sign you in! If your child does not remember, he/she can find his/her email address and password in the front of the planner.

A very important assignment is coming home today! It is your child’s first Moodle assignment of the year! Please ask your child to share this with you. It is due on Friday, October 30th!

The sign-up for Parent-Teacher conferences is now up! Please stop by our classroom with your calendar so you can choose a day/time that works for you! I look forward to meeting with everyone!

About two weeks ago, you received your child’s graded “All About Me Memoir.” It asked you to sign it and send it back in with your child. We need it for a special tech project we are starting tomorrow or Wednesday, so please send it back!!! We are very excited about it!

All of us have mail today!!

*Please encourage your child to bring a water bottle to class so he/she does not have to leave class when thirsty!

IT IS IMPORTANT FOR YOUR CHILD TO BRING SHARPENED PENCILS TO SCHOOL EACH DAY! PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR CHILD WITH A PERSONAL PENCIL SHARPENER TO KEEP IN HIS/HER BINDER!!!

Halloween at BCS is Friday October 30th. Students should come to school in their normal school clothes. At 1:15 the students will change into their costumes.
