Today was a very successful MEAP day! The student completed part 1 and 2 of the reading section and a short written response. There was no math today. In the afternoon, we went swimming and enjoyed learning some Spanish. Tomorrow is a regular school day and goal setting forms are due.
Thursday we will have MEAP testing. We will also have it next week on Tuesday and Thursday. Your child does not need to do anything to prepare except get a good night’s rest and eat a good breakfast. We may not have time for a snack so it is important for your child to eat well in the morning!

HL and MB 2.7 due WEDNESDAY! IF you did not take your test online, do so tonight!
Go to Mrs. Butzin’s blog and take the timed multiplication math test. The password is in your child’s planner. Students should have the quiz completed by Monday morning!
3rd Grade Mental recall goals (for exiting 3rd grade):
30 addition and 30 subtraction in 2 mins, 50 multiplication and 50 division 3 mins. Check out the math website on ourBlog. It is great for practicing all facts!
4th Grade Math: Geo-Museums were due today. We will start presenting them tomorrow. If your child forgot his/her checklist or rough draft, please have him/her bring it tomorrow to class! Tonight’s homework is to study multiplication facts for five minutes. You will get your test back tomorrow or Friday (no math today or Thursday because of the MEAP)
IT IS IMPORTANT FOR YOUR CHILD TO BRING SHARPENED PENCILS TO SCHOOL EACH DAY!
