Click on 3rd grade online MATH TEST site!
Find your name and log in using your school password (this is in on a sticker in your planner)
Or, log into your school email and click on the emails (with a link) that have been sent to you.

3rd Grade End of Year Fact Expectations:
Students should have quick mental recall of the following number of facts by the end of the year: 30 addition/30 subtraction facts in 2 mins and 50 division/50 multiplication facts in 3 mins

4th Grade Math:
We will not have math tomorrow because we will be taking our mid-year math assessments in our homeroom classes. All homework listed for today is due Wednesday! Today your child received a new math journal for Units 7-12. Please decide if you would like your child to hold on to the first journal to use for review later or if your family has a different plan. We will only need the new one from now on. Today we got our Unit 6 tests back. Please get the test letter signed for Wednesday. JP 185-188 SL 7.1 On JP 187 you can skip #15 and on JP 188 you can skip #5. Please go on IXL for 15 minutes and focus on Q1, Q2, and Q5. If you finish them, you can choose any skills you want for the remainder of the time!

1. Go to the BPS homepage at http://www.birmingham.k12.mi.us/
2. Hover over the “Parents/Students” link on the top menu bar. A drop down menu will appear.
3. In the drop down menu, click on “Student Links.”
4. Click on the “Microsoft Outlook 2007” icon:
5. A pop-up for username and password will appear. The student’s username must be entered with the full extension -- username@birmingham.k12.mi.us . The password is the same password the students uses to login at school.

Please make sure your child has a good book with him/her each day! We usually have 15 minutes of silent reading time each day!

Please check your child's Blue Take Home Folder each day to check for mail, homework, and important information.

PLEASE INITIAL YOUR CHILD’S PLANNER EACH NIGHT SO I KNOW YOU ARE AWARE OF THE HOMEWORK AND EXCITING THINGS HAPPENING IN OUR CLASSROOM!

IT IS IMPORTANT FOR YOUR CHILD TO BRING SHARPENED PENCILS TO SCHOOL EACH DAY! PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR CHILD WITH A PERSONAL PENCIL SHARPENER TO KEEP IN HIS/HER BINDER!!!

PLEASE SEND YOUR CHILD WITH A WATER BOTTLE!!! This helps a lot, so he/she does not have to leave
the room when thirsty! Your child is also welcome to keep healthy snacks in our classroom to eat any
time!
