It was such a pleasure to see you at Back to School Night! I am so excited about this year! Thanks for sending your sweet children to me each day. Today we brainstormed our character traits and created a character Tagxedo about ourselves. We will be displaying these on our lockers for you to see. After PE and lunch we met Ms. Clark in the media center for an orientation. At the end of the day we enjoyed filling buckets for our wonderful classmates!

3rd Grade Math:
We had an awesome day! Today we went on a SRB scavenger hunt. This weekend students are going to Mrs. Butzin’s blog to play table mountain focusing on facts 1,2 and 3.
4th Grade Math:
We had another great math class today! The kids worked hard and participated so well! Our homework due Monday is JP 4-5 and SL 1.2. Unfortunately our Study Link books have not come in yet, so your child has this unit’s study links in a packet. Today we also learned about a website called http://www.arcademicskillbuilders.com/. If your child has time this weekend, please encourage him/her to play some of the math games on that site!
For homework this week:
Read the online handbook and sign the first page in your planner. Ask your parent to read and sign this page too! Due Friday Sept 9th
Students need to decorate their writer's notebook (See the bright pink note for the instructions.) They have their book in their zipper binders or back packs. It is due back on Monday!
