Science: Please collect and bring in 2 ltr clear soda bottles for the Land and Water science unit. Wash out the bottle. Remove the label. Keep the cap on. Mark the bottle at a liter and half liter

If your child has an ipod touch, and you feel comfortable allowing he/she to bring it to school, please do so asap! It will be extremely helpful during our science unit on Land and Water!!

JP 9-11 SL 1.4 Yesterday I assigned two online quizzes to take on thatquiz.org. The online quizzes are addition and subtraction practice. They are NOT for a grade. I will just give you credit for doing them. The codes for these quizzes are EXQU4477 and QTXR0506. We learned how to do this in class yesterday and the kids are ready! They are due tomorrow!
Please make sure your child has a good book with him/her each day! We usually have 15 minutes of silent reading time each day!
Please check your child's Blue Take Home Folder each day to check for mail, homework, and important information.

IT IS IMPORTANT FOR YOUR CHILD TO BRING SHARPENED PENCILS TO SCHOOL EACH DAY! PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR CHILD WITH A PERSONAL PENCIL SHARPENER TO KEEP IN HIS/HER BINDER!!!
PLEASE SEND YOUR CHILD WITH A WATER BOTTLE!!! This helps a lot, so he/she does not have to leave the room when thirsty! Your child is also welcome to keep healthy snacks in our classroom to eat any time!
