We had an amazing week in room 204! In the afternoon I was out for a curriculum meeting, but the kids did a great job working on grammar (nouns) and science with our guest teacher! I hope you have a nice weekend.

Does your child use an Apple iPod, iPad, or Macbook for school? If so, it would be beneficial to your child to set up their school email account in the Apple’s mail client. Here’s what to do:
1. Go to “Settings”
2. Select “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”
3. Select “Add Account”
4. Select “Microsoft Exchange”
5. For “Email,” enter the student’s full email. This is their username @birmingham.k12.mi.us. (For example, amt1@birmingham.k12.mi.us
6. Leave the “Domain” field blank
7. For “Username,” enter the student’s full email address once again – username@birmingham.k12.mi.us.
8. For “Password,” enter the student’s password.
9. The “Description” will automatically be something like “Exchange,” but you can change this to something that may help your child identify it better, such as “BPS School Email.”
10. Click “Next.”
11. Another window similar to the previous one will appear, and it will also ask for “Server.” Enter the following: owa.birmingham.k12.mi.us
12. Click next. After verification, be sure to click SAVE!
