We are having a sunny day in room 204 even with the rain outside! This morning we enjoyed brainstorming our favorite places. We began writing about one of them using the small moment strategy. After art and lunch, we worked with Mrs. Truesdell n adding links widgets to our wiki. It was a great day!

3rd Grade End of Year Fact Expectations:
Students should have quick mental recall of the following number of facts by the end of the year: 30 addition/30 subtraction facts in 2 mins and 50 division/50 multiplication facts in 3 mins
4th Grade Math:
Last week we took a practice fact test and it was due back to me today with a signature. If your child forgot, I am hoping to see it tomorrow. Tonight’s homework is a handout called Geo-Template Fun as well as JP 25-26 SL 1.8. We also have online fact quizzes due Friday. The codes are NTXM5559 and CSRJ4338. We are practicing our addition and subtraction facts as we will have an addition/subtraction fact test along with our Unit 1 test this Friday! If you received the email about purchasing math tools, please know that there is only one that I recommend. It is the fourth grade geo-template. Your child will use that throughout the year and it would be so helpful for him/her to have it in his/her binder all the time!
